Sometimes the sky is just pink because that’s how my heart felt that particular moment, because some days are better than others, because these beautiful pastels were layered in 2020, a difficult year where darkness prevailed and I needed a way out with colours which would embrace happiness and positivity in our world not ugliness. Despite it all, our world is beautiful and I wanted everyone who would be looking at this painting to remember that.
